Samir Awuapara
Founder & CEO
Samir is the founder and CEO of Mecano Labs Inc., the parent company behind MecanoAI. Based in New York City, he brings a multidisciplinary background spanning software engineering, enterprise architecture, and financial services.
A Fullstack Academy alumnus and seven-time Salesforce certified architect, Samir built Mecano Consulting into a specialized enterprise technology practice before turning his focus to AI research. His work at MecanoAI spans neural architecture design, autonomous agent orchestration, and computational drug discovery.
He is bilingual in English and Spanish.
